Former YUKOS chief delivered to court

Former YUKOS head Mikhail Khodorkovsky has been delivered to the building of the Basmanny court of Moscow that is due to decide whether to retain Khodorkovsky in custody as his term of imprisonment expires on December 30, 2003. The General Prosecutor's Office filed a petition requesting to keep Khodorkovsky in custody for another 2 or 3 months.

As reported earlier, Khodorkovsky was arrested on October 25 on charges of tax evasion and fraud.
