State Duma elections: seamen to vote first

Over 2,300 voters of Russia's easternmost region, Kamchatka, have voted from ships in the sea by this time.

The regional election commission was informed that as of now, the results of the polls from 73 polling stations on catcher boats out of the total 166 have been received.

2,370 people have made their choice. This is practically 100 per cent of crewmembers, which is a usual thing for sea vote, the election commission said.

The vote returns from the remaining vessels are still coming to the election commission.
