PM reports inflation results in Russia

Inflation in Russia dropped by 0.4 percent in August 2003. On the whole, it amounted to 8.3 percent in the first eight months of this year, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov declared opening a government meeting today. According to him, in the first seven months of this year inflation was 8.7 percent. The head of the Russian government added that these figures were lower than the results in the corresponding periods of 2002.
