Republic of Guinea Ministry of Foreign Affairs will conduct negotiations in Moscow

Russian and Guinean heads of Ministry of Foreign Affairs will consider ways to decrease tension in West Africa.

"The heads of Russian and Guinean Ministries of Foreign Affairs will search for ways to decrease tension in West Africa, in particular, the issues of post-crisis settlement in Guinea's neighbouring countries of Sierra Leone, Liberia and Republic of Cote d'Ivoire during their future negotiations", Alexander Saltanov, Russian Federation Deputy minister of Foreign Affairs said Thursday in his interview to RIA Novosti.

"Francois Falle, Republic of Guinea Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, will come to Russia on a working visit from September 2 to September 5", said the diplomat.

"The issues of Russia's engagement with African Alliance, with Economic Commonwealth of West African States (ECWAS) in strengthening stability and liquidation of poverty on the continent will be the most important problems discussed", answered Saltanov.

The Ministers will also exchange their opinions on perspectives of "New Partnership for African Development" program implementation and realisation of Afro-Alliance's summit decisions in Maputu.
