General Prosecutor's Office stops searching YUKOS's contractor

Searches in the company Sibintek, which is a general contractor of YUKOS in the IT sector, have been finished, the company's lawyer Rashid Yangulov declared. According to him, representatives of the Federal Security Service (FSB) destroyed a tape with recordings made by the company's security service. The lawyer noted that the General Prosecutor's Office was interested in Sibintek's archives, however, it seems that they were not found. Nevertheless, investigators took away some documents of the company.

Earlier, Dmitry Gololobov, the head of the legal department of YUKOS-Moscow, declared that the searches were conducted within the investigation of cases concerning the company Apatit. The searches started at 11:00 today. According to him, representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office did not show any search warrant to YUKOS lawyers and did not allow them to be present during the searches.
