The Internet will cover St. Petersburg jubilee around-the-clock

The project 'Jubilee without borders' has opened in St. Petersburg, said Chief Presidential Advisor for Information Management Constantine Petrichenko at a press conference in St. Petersburg on May 22.

Representative of Intel-St. Petersburg Igor Sisoyev said that as part of the project 'jubilee without borders' the entire world will be able to see all the brightest jubilee moments on the internet resource www.flyway.ru where events will be covered around-the-clock. A special fiber-optic line was installed to help complete the project. In addition, web cameras have already been installed on Nevsky Prospekt, Palace Square and the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island. Moreover, a camera from the Peterburg television and radio company will be used to help film the events. Rossiya television station will broadcast events with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and other leaders of the international summit in St. Petersburg on May 30-31. The broadcasts will be archived at www.flyway.ru.

Telecommunication companies Intel, Egant, Cisco, Comset and Swedish media holding MTG participated in the project.
