The Russian Economy Ministry has submitted to the government a program for Russia's social and economic development in the medium term perspective (2003-2005), the press service of the ministry told RBC. Compared to the previous variant of the program, the ministry has changed some parameters, in particular the forecasted GDP growth was increased to 3.8-5 percent in 2004 and to 4.8-5.9 percent in 2005.
As reported earlier, On February 20 the program was approved on the whole by the government.
