Russian businessmen to participate in investment forum in Armenia

An investment forum will be conducted in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on May 10 to 13, and Russian businessmen will take part in it, Russian Minister of Industry, Science and Technology Ilya Klebanov announced at a meeting in the Armenian National Academy of Sciences today. He noted that this forum would be devoted to the attraction of Russian investments to the Armenian economy, the ARKA agency reported.

Russia is the largest Armenian foreign trade partner. According to the Armenian national statistics agency, the trade volume between the two countries amounted to about $261.275m in 2002.
