RAO UES posts net income figures

According to the International Accounting Standards, net income of RAO UES in the first nine months of 2002 amounted to 21.27bn rubles ($679.55m), which was 35 percent lower than in the corresponding period of 2001, the mass media relations department of the energy holding told RBC. Income from restructuring tax and credit debts was 6.91bn rubles ($220.7m) in the reported period compared to 18.28bn rubles in the first nine months of 2001.
