Moscow hasn't seen such heat for more than 100 years

The Moscow region has not seen such heat, keeping over the last five days, for more than 100 years. For the last time the temperature in Moscow rose to 35 degrees and more in the end of the 19th century, the Moscow meteorological bureau said. On July 20, 1980 the maximal temperature reached 35.8 degrees.

According to meteorologists, today's temperature can beat the 100-years old record of 1882 and 1885, when the temperature rose to 32.8 degrees above zero.
