Russian Premier to visit Kaluga on Thursday

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov will pay a one-day routine visit to Kaluga (a regional centre to the south-west of Moscow) on Wednesday, July 10.

The Prime Minister will hold a meeting on regional budgets and problems of their formation and implementation, the department of governmental information told RIA Novosti. In addition, Kasyanov will discuss inter-budgetary relations between the centre and regions. According to the department, representatives of all the Federation subjects of the Central Federal District will participate in the meeting.

In addition, Kasyanov will visit the Kaluga turbine plant and the Cosmonautics Museum and meet with the regional authorities.

Vice Premier Viktor Khristenko, Deputy Finance Minister Aleksei Ulyukayev and Presidential Authorised Representative in the Central Federal District Georgy Poltavchenko will accompany the Prime Minister.
