Sibneft oil company to issue next GAAP report in October

Russian oil company Sibneft will publish its financial report, in accordance with GAAP standards, for the first half of this year in October, the company's representative reported. In the future, Sibneft is planning to issue GAAP reports every quarter.

On June 25, Sibneft reported its results for 2001. The company's net profits reached $1.305bn last year versus $674.8m in 2000.
