Russian Prime Minister to make a working trip to Saint Petersburg on Wednesday

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov will make a working trip to St. Petersburg on Wednesday, RIA Novosti was told on Tuesday in the government information department.

The Prime Minister is expected to take part in a ceremony of opening the Petersburg Economic Forum. According to plans, in the Tavrichesky Palace he will have talks with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Jean Lemierre and Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman.

In the afternoon Mikhail Kasyanov will hold a session of the Marine Collegium which he heads in accordance with the President's decree.

Apart from that, the Prime Minister will take part in a conference concerning the preparations for the 300th anniversary of Petersburg which will be marked in 2003.

On Wednesday evening the Prime Minister will return to Moscow.
