Russian parliamentarians concerned about experiments conducted by US

The deputies of the State Duma (the Lower House of the Russian Parliament) intend to ask Russian President Vladimir Putin to pay attention to the experiments in the United States which negatively affect the ecology of our planet.

As chairman of the Duma international committee Dmitry Rogozin said on Tuesday, the State Duma intends to consider an appropriate draft address at its plenary session on June 21.

The draft address "On the Potential Danger for Mankind of the USA's Continuing Large-Scale Experiments of Targeted and Strong Influence on the Earth's Environment by High Frequency Radio Waves" has been drafted by the State Duma international and defence committees.

As RIA Novosti was told the day before by member of the Duma defence committee Yevgeny Zelenov, in the course of the past nearly five years the United States has been conducting such experiments at scientific stations in Alaska and North America.

Yevgeny Zelenov said that the deputies intend to express their concern about this problem and to draw attention of the head of the state to the necessity of taking appropriate measures.
