Project on merging energy systems of Eastern and Western Europe to be presented in Brussels

On Tuesday the Russian company "Unified Energy Systems of Russia" will present its project on merging energy systems of Eastern and Western Europe to the European parliament. An operation that would let optimize electricity load schedules and increase their efficiency by rational use of energy resources and power reserves is among the priorities in Russian-EU energy dialog. It concerns the creation of a Eurasian energy system.

Chairman of the board of UES Anatoly Chubais will present the position of Russia and the CIS on creating the Eurasian energy system for transferring the systems of the CIS and Baltic states to the parallel work with the Transeuropean synchronous unified energy system of the countries in Western, Central and South-East Europe.
