Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman is coming to Russia to participate in the Petersburg economic forum. As the press service of the Office of the head of state said, on Tuesday Milos Zeman will visit the Severnaya Verf shipyard where he will inspect the Valdai ship. On Wednesday the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic will make a speech before the participants in the forum.
Within the framework of the visit of Zeman his meetings with Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Kasyanov and with heads of Russian regions are planned. A contract for fuel supplies is expected to be signed.
The visit of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic to Russia will end on June 20. It will be one of the last foreign trips of Milos Zeman in the capacity of the head of government. After the parliamentary elections and the formation of the new Cabinet of Ministers Milos Zeman will resign from the post of the Premier.
Europe has recognised the need for negotiations with Russia to discuss the security system on the continent. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is going to Macedonia for meetings with colleagues within the OSCE
