Council of Ministers of Russia-Belarus Union to discuss trade and economic cooperation

The meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Russia-Belarus Union will focus on bilateral trade and economic cooperation, State Secretary of the Russia-Belarus Union Pavel Borodin told his deputies and heads of departments of the Union's Permanent Committee.

The meeting is scheduled for early September, the Russia-Belarus Union's Permanent Committee told RIA Novosti.

Borodin pointed to the necessity to increase the role of the Permanent Committee in trade and economic cooperation between two brotherly nations. According to him, on June 14 the Permanent Council will hold a separate meeting to thoroughly consider all aspects of cooperation.
