Russia, Kazakhstan sign oil transit agreement

The Russian and Kazakh governments signed an oil transit agreement on Friday.

The document was signed by Russian and Kazakh Prime Ministers Viktor Khristenko and Karim Masimov in the presence of Presidents Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In addition, the Gazprom open joint stock company and the Kaz MunaiGas closed joint stock company signed a joint venture agreement on the establishment of KazRosGas closed joint stock company.
