A nursery for training of dogs to search explosive devices has been established in Pyatigorsk (the North Caucasus). According to the Pyatigorsk's Interior Ministry's Department, the establishment of the nursery was prompted by ever increasing number of terrorist acts in Mineralnye Vody /Caucasus/ leading to human deaths. Spaniel Jinn has become the first "new settler" in the nursery. This dog is called "a war hero", since in two years it has identified about 200 land mines in Chechnya and has even received wounds. Currently, appropriate equipment has been provided to the nursery. The Pyatigorsk administration has allocated a land plot on the city's outskirts. The management of the city's markets and businessmen have provided funds for the nursery's arrangement and its maintenance.
