Old woman’s bag blows up

A blast sounded in the Russian city of Novorossiesk this morning. The accident took place not far from one of the biggest schools of the city. A self-made blasting device (presumably containing powder) blew up in a bag of an elderly woman. According to preliminary information, while picking up empty bottles, she found a plastic yoghurt packing, put it into her bag and went to a trolley bus stop. The explosion sounded when she was in a few metres from it. As a result the woman was hospitalised. Her leg was amputated and her hand injured. It is rumoured that it was an act of terrorism and the blast was to occur in the territory of the school. These rumours were roused by the fact that telephone terrorists had begun to often disturb the city police.
