Ostankino TV tower to be rebuilt by means of EBRD?

Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin has discussed with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) officials the possibility of securing Russia a loan for rebuilding Moscow's Ostankino television tower, which was badly damaged by fire August 28-29 of last year, State Construction Committee Chairman Anvar Shamuzafarov told the press on Wednesday, Interfax announces. "The rebuilding of the tower itself will require $40 million and reconstructing the television and radio broadcasting and communications systems $20 million," Shamuzafarov said.
