Vladimir Putin congratulates George Bush

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday sent his congratulations to U.S. President George W. Bush on the occasion of his inauguration, and wished him success in his new post. Putin "confirmed his readiness to work towards broadening interaction between Russia and the United States, and for a joint search of responses to 21st century challenges, both to Russia and to the international community as a whole," Interfax reports. Putin also set forth his ideas of how the Russian-American dialogue will develop.
