Bodies of Russian citizens killed in Algeria will be delivered to Moscow today

The bodies of the four Russian engineers who were killed in Algeria on January 7 will be brought to Moscow by a regular flight of the Algerian air company today, a spokesman for Russian embassy in Algeria said. Four Russian specialists who worked at a Algerian metallurgical plant “Al-Khadzhar” in the town of Annaba, disappeared January 7. As soon as the information about the disappearance of Russian citizens was received, Russian consulate general in Annaba contacted local authorities in order to find out about their fates. January, 8, in the evening it became known that Russian specialists had been killed. Their bodies were found in 30 km from the town, RIA Novosti reports. According to the spokesman for Russian embassy, so far the murderers have not been established. Sources in the Algerian security forces do not rule out that the Russian citizens fell victim to Islamic fundamentalists.
