8 arrested in Turkey for firing into the moon

An amusing incident has taken place in Turkey. Thousands of people in Africa, Europe, and Asia watched a moon eclipse last night. But only in Turkey 8 people were arrested for doing that. The point is that there is an ancient Turkish tradition to shoot at a disappearing moon. The marksmen could have been far more in number.
