Thai police arrests «king of heroine»
Thai police have arrested a man suspected of running the world's largest drug syndicate, which provides the world market with heroin produced in Thailand, Laos and Myanma. The suspect, known as Lao Thai, was arrested in Chiang Mai, northern Thailan, RIA Novosti reports. Back in 1994, Lao Thai was found guilty of mass opium deliveries to America, but managed to escape the police even though the New York court promised a $2 million reward to anyone who captures the "king of heroin."
