Cloning of humans in US

Clon-Aid, a private corporation, has set about the first cloning of human being. There is information that the firm may have links with an influential religious sect. According to Itar-TASS, there are also first clients – a married couple is said to have ordered cloning of their daughter who died some time ago from heart disease. The couple has managed to preserve pieces of the child’s skin. Now the DNA will be seated into an egg and the embryo transplanted into a dummy mother – one of the sect’s active followers.
