The world ends today?

The planet Earth will die as a result of a collision with an asteroid, and it may happen any moment. Today cannot be ruled out, either. Such a redoubtable forecast has been put forward by scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Astronomy, the Federal Russian Nuclear Centre (the Institute of Technical Physics), the Lavochkin Research-and-Production Amalgamation. Such-kind forecasts have repeatedly been made public. However, it is for the first time that the Apocalypse is being forecast by such authoritative scientific centres.
