Milosevic Party seems to be loosing erstwhile authority

Serb voters will be casting their ballots at this week’s elections for a reformist Democtratic Opposition of Serbia (DOS) backed by President Vojislav Kostunica. Those are the results of an opinion poll conducted by the Institute of Social Sciences. Only 13% of those polled said they would vote for the Socialist Party headed by Slobodan Milosevic. As the poll shows, the Serbs are discontented with the reform, but look ready to afford the president and the government an opportunity to lead the country out of the crisis. 86% of the surveyed said they were discontented with their living standard, 9 in 10 were discontented with the economic situation in the country. These parameters have worsened by 4% during the month, Reuters reports.
