BLACK-SKINNED ASSISTANT SCARES WOMAN PATIENT’S HUSBUND

In a hospital of the city of Nashville, Tennessee, a fact of racism has taken place. In the middle of the operation, the husband of a woman who was undergoing a heart surgery broke into the clinic and staged a row demanding to oust from the operation-room a black assistant because he did not want “a black-skinned man to gaze at his naked wife.” The surgeon had to obey in order not to terminate the surgery. However, the hospital had later to publicly apologize for this racist incident.
