On Monday, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov ordered the cabinet to form the working group to stabilise the situation in the Primorye (Russian Far East maritime province) fuel and energy sector. The group will be headed by the Emergencies Minister Sergey Shoigu. The task is set “to provide uninterrupted supply of heating and energy to the region and to make the necessary stock of fuel for the close perspective. Finance Minister Aleksei Kudrin has told the press that the means to buy fuel have been already allocated by the Finance Ministry and that another loan of 170 million rubles will be transfered to Primorye “tomorrow or the next day”, Ria-Novosti reports.
