Budget 2001 adopted

The State Duma adopted the third reading of budget 2001. The deputes “hold a record” in duration of consideration the amendments: the final voting took place at 10 p.m. Fractions “Unity”, LDPR, Unit of Wing-Right Forces and “Yabloko” claimed for the budget. Fractions “Fatherland – All Russia”, “People’s depute” group and “Regions of Russia” group, claimed for the budget, too, but some of their member claimed against it. Communists and Agrarians mostly didn’t approve the budget, but some of them voted for it, “Moscow Echo” reports. New Russian budget will entail no deficit, its income and expense will amount 1 trillion and 190 milliard rubles each. The rate of inflation will presumedly came to 12 %.
