Zhirinivsky’s way to solve the Chechen problem

The State Duma vice-speaker Vladimir Zhirinovsky said today that Russia should enter the organization of the Islam Conference. According to Zhirinovsky, Russia’s entering the organisation would be “very favourable from the point of view of economics”, “Ria-Novosti” reports. Besides, the LDPR leader considers that if Russia were a member of this organisation, “it would be able to influence the positions of Muslim countries leaders, which could make for stabilisation of the situation in Chechnya”.
