ROKHLINA SENTENCED TO 8 YEARS IN PRISON

Judge Zhilina announced a verdict sentencing the general’s widow to eight years in prison with of one and a half years of pre-trial imprisonment being taken into account, our correspondent Aleksandr Golovenko reports. After announcing the verdict, Tamara Rokhlina was taken into custody. The court ruled that the Rokhlins’ son be handed over to Moscow’s West Administrative District’s board of guardians. Anatoli Kucherena, Mrs. Rokhlina’s lawyer, defined the verdict as “lawlessness.” Pravda.ru will publish a more detailed report after our correspondent returns from the site.
