Starting from today, the European Union’s emergency programme goes into effect on providing aid to Serbia. First of all, the republic will be supplied with fuel to provide heat for city residents. Then power and drugs are to be supplied, the European Bureau of RBC reports. According to the EU plan, the aid will be provided, in the first place, to those cities whose residents voted for Mr. Kostunica and his supporters at the September elections. So, Mr. Kostunica’s opponents will have to wait.
