Russian ship is captured by “Tamil Tigers”

The fighters of Sri-Lanka’s separatist Movement “Tamil Tigers” captured the Russian ship Utyos (the Cliff) on Thursday morning near the Sri-Lanka’s port of Trinkomali. The government forces have restrained from opening fire at the pirates to avoid casualties among crewmembers, NTV reports. A short time after the attack, Tamil Tigers have left the ship. It was not reported, what drove the terrorists to do so. All 22 of the crew are safe, the ship has been towed into the port.
