Elections in Kosovo may consolidate the ethnic purge of the territory

Moscow authorities consider that municipal elections, which took place in Kosovo October 28 may “de facto consolidate ethnic purge, practised by Albanian extremists”, a statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry runs, cited be “Interfax”. “Serbian population is beyond the democratic process”, - the document runs. It is also mentioned in the statement, that all the election campaign had been centred on the problem of “Kosovo’s independence” and had digressed from the municipal affairs.
