Russian PM is to visit China

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov will pay a visit to China on November 3-4. He is scheduled to hold negotiations about the development of military and technical cooperation between Russia and China. In particular, they will discuss the implementation of contracts on supplies of Russian military equipment to China and on selling licenses for military equipment production, Russia Journal reports. According to deputy PM Ilya Klebanov, several very important documents will be signed during this visit. Kasyanov is expected to hold negotiations with his Chinese counterpart and sign a program of trade and economic cooperation through 2005. Kasyanov will also meet with Chinese leader Jiang Zemin and representatives of Chinese business circles, the Izvestia newspaper reported.
