RUSSIAN MPs TO PARTICIPATE IN KURSK PROBE

Russia’s president Vladimir Putin has asked vice-premier Ilya Klebanov to include nine Duma deputies in the government commission probing the Kursk disaster, said Duma chairman Gennadi Seleznyov (Mr. Klebanov heads the commission). Here, Mr. Seleznyov refers to his meeting with President Putin on Thursday, in the course of which he reminded the President of the Duma’s 15 September resolution according to which Duma deputies were recommended to be included in the commission.
