The widow of the “Kursk’s” commander accuses the authorities of corruption

Today Russian news-paper “Komsomolskaya Pravda” published an open letter Irina Lyachina, the widow of the wrecked submarine “Kursk” commander. She accuses the members of the committee established for rendering of help towards the families of the perished sailors of peculation of funds received from throughout the country. Thereupon Lyachina claims about her leaving the committee. Navy Press-service announces that the Command of the fleet is informed about the letter. The service-men reported that the facts stated in the letter of Lyachina are “being studied”.
