Pope claims that he is not guilty

US citizen Edmund Pope, accused of espionage, speaking in Moscow Court of law, he flatly denied his guilty. According to his barrister Pavel Astahov, Pope said that the trial was not equitable and that there was no Themis in this room. Pavel Astahov also said that many reports of his questioning didn’t correspond to his words. He is going to demand some documents, in particular, the contract about collaboration between Pope’s firm and Russian scientific institutions. The barrister is also going to call other witnesses who took part in this collaboration.
