Russian foreign minister Igor Ivanov had a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak on Wednesday. He also conducted talks with UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Russia announced. Ivanov declared earlier that Russia had made concrete proposals to end Israeli-Palestinian fighting. He also said that he would discuss these proposals with all parties involved in the conflict, RBC reports.
The British press has recently reported that Russia was going to conduct a nuclear test either on the borders with Ukraine or in the Black Sea.
