Collective Security Treaty Member States Sign Agreement on Status of Forming Collective Security Forces and Means On Wednesday, October 11, presidents of six state-members of the Collective Security Treaty entered into agreement on the status of forces and collective security means. The agreement provides that in compliance with their national laws the state – parties to that agreement - will render necessary military assistance to each other at each other’s request and send troops to the territories of the endangered party to resist external military aggression and to jointly conduct counter-terrorist operations and military trainings.
