The head of Russian Foreign Ministry Igor Ivanov confirmed Vladimir Putin’s proposal to meet Yugoslavian presidential candidates Slobodan Milosovic and Vojislav Kostunica in Moscow. Speaking to journalists Ivanov stressed that this meeting could take place any suitable time. Besides, he said that the presidential candidates had not given any formal answer yet. “If they don’t accept the proposal and don’t visit Moscow, that will be their choice”,- Ivanov remarked.
The British press has recently reported that Russia was going to conduct a nuclear test either on the borders with Ukraine or in the Black Sea.
