TALEBAN DELEGATION IS AFRAID TO GO TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE

The Taleban delegation being led by vice-Minister of Foreign affairs of the Taleban government Abdurahman Zahib is in Washington now. The delegation didn’t come to the appointment with US vice-secretary of State Thomas Pickering at 11 a.m. on Thursday. According to Fillip Ricker, the depute official representative of the U.S. State Department, after an hour of waiting the officials of the Department didn’t posses any information about the location of the Taleban delegation. Ricker also reported that Thomas Pickering was planning to raise the question of the extradition of Islam terrorist Usama ben Laden, concealed by Taleban. The vice-secretary was also going to discuss the problems of human rights infringement and of production of drugs in Afghanistan territories, controlled by Taleban. RIA “Novosti”
