OPEC BLAMES WEST FOR HIGH OIL PRICES

Leaders of the oil-producing cartel Opec blamed western counties for high oil prices. This was declared after Opec summit in Caracas. According to the leaders of Opec the main reason of price increase is heavy taxation. The members of summit called to regulate the dialog between the makers and the consumers of oil. They promised to continue manufacturing and selling oil and claimed that the prices will be reasonable and stable. But Saudi Arabia, Opec's largest member, indicated that it was prepared to break ranks to increase output in order to help ease prices, BBC informs.
