United Kingdom Against Whatever Terrorism, Including Chechen

The United Kingdom is against whatever manifestation of terrorism, including Chechen, said on Thursday Tom Kelly, official representative of the Downing Street. Still, he found it hard to say whether or not the UK is ready to give help Russia in the struggle against Chechen terrorism, such as London and Washington is getting from Moscow in their efforts against terrorism in the territory of Afghanistan. In Moscow two weeks ago Tony Blair and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the matter of Chechen terrorism, said the spokesman of the British prime minister's office. As regards extradition, he admitted that the British legislation on matters of extradition from Britain of criminals persecuted for terrorism in other countries is imperfect and not working. This is why in the near future Britain will adopt corresponding laws which will considerably simplify procedure for the extradition of such persons, said Kelly.
