Venezuela And Uruguay To Demonstrate Arts In Moscow

As part of the 2nd festival of Ibero-American culture in Russia which is now running in Moscow, musicians and vocalists from Uruguay and Venezuela will perform on October 19. Famous pianist from Uruguay Carlos Balbi will perform at the Skryabin museum. On the same day, October 19, the Auyantepuy vocal group from Venezuela will give a concert. The group was set up to give music lovers from all around the world an insight into Venezuelan folk music, old culture and musical traditions. The festival of Ibero-American culture in Russia will last until October 31. Greeting the festival, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov said: "we can't help but rejoice that the festival is becoming a good tradition and carnival colors of Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Caribbean countries, Central and South America will again brighten up this autumn in Moscow." The minister added that this was a bright and unique contribution to the consolidation of friendship and mutual understanding between peoples.
