Russian President And The Parliament Speaker Discussed The Budget

On 15 October during the meeting in the Kremlin Russian President Vladimir Putin and chairman of the lower house of the Parliament Gennady Seleznyov considered the progress achieved in the course of consideration of the draft budget for 2002 by the State Duma (the Russian lower house of the Parliament). They also considered the package of draft laws related to legal, judicial and other reforms to be considered in the fall by the State Duma on a priority basis.
