The Georgian embassy has officially confirmed that Zurab Abashidze, Georgia's ambassador to Russia, was summoned on Wednesday evening to the Russian Foreign Ministry. RIA Novosti was told at the press-service of the Georgian diplomatic mission that the Georgian diplomatic head was issued with a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry. "The text of this statement will be studied by the Georgian side with the utmost attention," it was stressed at the embassy.
