Vladimir Putin has stated that combating terrorism requires joint efforts of all international community and should be conducted on every front. Speaking to journalists after the signing ceremony of Russo-Portuguese documents, the Russian President stressed that the activities of the international anti-terrorist coalition in Afghanistan were a crucial part of the struggle against terrorism, but "only a part of it." According to Putin, it is necessary to use "power against the infrastructure of international terrorism," increase efforts to combat drug trafficking and cut off terrorists' sources of funding.
